Bose Powerprofile Low Frequency Enclosure. I wonder how terrible it is.
Autocross course chart.
Mid-morning sun.
8:36am, tent is packed.
Granola and yogurt. Not bad!
Randomly divided us into 5 groups... we're at autocross.
Road test time, Cadillac Escalade for me!
14 Caddies pulling out!
Now in the Cadillac XT5. Not nearly as nice as the Escalade.
Weird shifter.
Time for the Night Vision demo.
Panaray upgrade in the CT6.
Full LCD gauges.
Woah, so many buttons on the steering wheel.
Active Safety course, showing off the rear wheel steering on the CT6.
And what we've all been waiting for, ATS-V acceleration runs!
0-60 in 3.8 seconds. Probably a bit slower here as we weren't allowed to use launch control.
Five ATS-V coupe automatics. Plus they had at least two spares somewhere, maybe three.
Row of ATS 2.0T and CTS 2.0T's, plus one 3.6 in there for variety.
Sipp. Not bad.
ATS-V 3.0TT LF4 powerplant.
Holy crap it's tight in there.
ATS-V coupe.
Simple door panel for such an expensive car. Decent materials.
Not a fan of piano black, nor of the missing 3rd pedal.
Not cramped, but definitely not a big interior.
Backseat for children only.
275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport, Brembo 4-piston brakes. And a 4x4 look with that fender gap.
255/35/18 in front, 6-piston Brembos. Note the logo is upright on both wheels. Nice touch.
CTS-V time.
265/35/19 PSS on the CTS-V, 6-piston Brembo. I see a lot of floating rotor hardware on both CTS-V and ATS-V, too.
LT4 supercharged V8.
Way more room to work on. Still tight. And could definitely use some proper headers.
GM's stupid "Dexos" oil certification money-grab. And wow, surprised it's 5W-30 and not 0W-20.
Supercharged!
Reinforced strut towers. And check out that strut tower brace in the back.
295/30/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport, 4-piston Brembo.
CTS-V gets memory seats.
Optional Recaro buckets are pretty good.
Still too much piano black.
Nice enough interior, good quality materials everywhere. Nothing too fancy tho.
Front seat slid reasonably far back (not all the way).
And a more reasonable driving position. Tons of legroom in the back.
The middle looks very uncomfortable.
Ample legroom. Sad little seatback pocket.
Shot of the front.
Not sure if these were visitors or employee-owned 2nd gen CTS-V coupes, but a bunch of the employees were SoCal locals....
